What we are

Remedial is all we do.

We'd rather you verify us than take our word for it. Class 2 DBP registered, Licence 360636C — check it on the NSW Fair Trading register before you call.

Atomic Projects isn't a general builder that also takes remedial jobs. Remediation is the business — diagnosing why a building is failing and fixing it for good, on buildings that stay occupied while we work.

That focus is the reason we can do what a lot of contractors can't: stage works around residents and tenants, take a project from invasive investigation all the way to certified handover, and hand the owners corporation a paper trail that stands up to an engineer, a certifier and an insurer.

We take strata and commercial remedial projects from $100K — facade, concrete, waterproofing, structural, cladding, roof and compliance works.

How we work

Three things we do on every building.

The discipline that lets us work on buildings full of people — and close the defect for good, not just cover it over.

01
Investigation firstWe confirm the cause before we price the cure — so the scope you fund is the scope the building needs, with no mid-job surprises.
02
Residents in placeWorks are staged and sequenced so people keep living and working in the building — access managed, disruption minimised, safety first.
03
Closed out with evidenceEvery project finishes with the documentation engineers, certifiers and insurers accept — the defect formally closed, not just covered over.

Who you're dealing with

You'll deal with the builder, not a call centre.

"I started Atomic Projects because I was tired of watching buildings pay for the same defect twice — once for the patch, then again for the proper repair when the patch failed. Every project we take on, I'm accountable for it. Send me where the water's showing, or the concrete's cracking, and I'll tell you straight what's actually failing — even when that's the cheaper answer."

By the numbers

The proof is in the projects.

A few of the buildings we've taken from defect report to closed-out — occupied the whole way through.

Mixed-use strata facade in St Leonards after ACP cladding and window replacement — Atomic ProjectsCladding & Window Replacement

Mixed-use strata — St Leonards

Non-compliant ACP cladding replaced with a certified system, rooftop re-waterproofed, and all windows and doors renewed. Three scopes integrated into a single 8-month program to minimise disruption and duplication.

"They combined three major scopes into one program and dealt with council directly. We expected 12 months of chaos — it was done in eight."

Miranda high-rise balcony waterproofing project — Atomic ProjectsCLASS 2 · BALCONY WATERPROOFING

Walk-up strata — Manly

A NCAT compliance upgrade under the DBP Act — non-compliant balcony waterproofing identified and replaced by a Class 2 registered practitioner with declared designs, full documentation and compliance declarations at every stage. Full re-waterproofing delivered under one registered practitioner, so the Owners Corporation got a single compliance trail instead of three.

"One registered practitioner across the waterproofing meant one compliance trail — not three. NCAT sign-off was straightforward."

Common questions

The questions we get before the first call.

The four things people most want to confirm about the company before they pick up the phone.

Who are Atomic Projects?+
Atomic Projects is a Sydney remedial building contractor — the trading name of Neobuilt Pty Ltd (ABN 53 627 550 323), a Class 2 DBP registered building practitioner, Licence 360636C. We've delivered $20M+ of remedial works on occupied strata and commercial buildings, from investigation to certified handover.
What kind of buildings do you work on?+
Occupied strata and commercial buildings — apartment blocks, mixed-use, and tenanted commercial assets. The common thread is that people are still living or trading in them while we work, which is exactly what our staging and access methodology is built for.
What does "remedial only" mean for us as a client?+
It means the people on your building do this every day — not as a side job between new builds. Remedial work has its own discipline: diagnosing causes, staging around occupancy, and documenting compliance. That's the whole business, so it's what we're set up to do well.
Where are you based and where do you work?+
We're based at 11A Tangarra St East, Croydon Park NSW 2133, and work across Sydney on strata and commercial remedial projects from $100K.
How big are the projects you take on?+
From around $100K up to multi-million-dollar programmes. Recent work spans a $50K rope-access facade repair through to a $1M+ integrated cladding, roof and window programme. If it's an occupied building with a real remedial defect, it's our kind of project.
How do I verify your registration?+
Check Licence 360636C on the NSW Fair Trading register. On Class 2 buildings, structural, waterproofing and fire-safety work is regulated under the DBP Act — registration is what lets us lodge designs and file compliance declarations.
