Remedial is different to new-build. You're not repeating the same fit-out on floor after floor — you're working out why a 20-year-old building is failing and putting it right, often with people still living above, below and beside you.

- You hold (or are working toward) the tickets for your trade — White Card minimum, plus the relevant high-risk and access tickets.
- You can work respectfully around residents and the public — occupied buildings are the job, not the exception.
