Why work here

Good people, hard jobs, done right.

Not “join our passionate team.” Here's what the job actually gives you.

THE WORK

Real remedial work

Facades, concrete, waterproofing, balconies — technical work on real buildings, not repetitive new-build fit-out.

THE TEAM

Backed to grow

Tickets, training and a clear path. We invest in people who want to step up to leading hand, supervisor and beyond.

THE STANDARD

Run properly

Safety, planning and the right gear — a site you'd want your own family living next to while the work's underway.

The work

Every job is a puzzle, not a production line.

Remedial is different to new-build. You're not repeating the same fit-out on floor after floor — you're working out why a 20-year-old building is failing and putting it right, often with people still living above, below and beside you.

If you like solving problems on real buildings and want the ticket list to prove it, that's the work here.

Progression

A path, not a holding pattern.

We promote from the tools up. Show you can run work cleanly, safely and to spec, and there's a defined ladder — backed with the tickets and training to climb it.

Straight talk

Is this you?

We'd rather be honest up front — it saves us both time. The people who read this and lean in are exactly who we want.

You'll do well here if…

  • You take pride in finishing a job properly, not just quickly.
  • You hold (or are working toward) the tickets for your trade — White Card minimum, plus the relevant high-risk and access tickets.
  • You can work respectfully around residents and the public — occupied buildings are the job, not the exception.
  • You want to step up, and you'll do the training to get there.

It's probably not for you if…

  • You're after repetitive new-build fit-out.
  • Safety and site rules feel like red tape.
  • You'd rather not deal with residents, dust control and staged access.
  • You want to clock in, clock out, and never be pushed to grow.
This honesty is deliberate. The crew works better when everyone on it actually wants to be there.
How to apply

Three steps. We read every application.

No portal and no black hole — a person reads what you send, and you hear back either way.

1
Send your resume and qualificationsEmail careers@atomicprojects.com.au with your resume and a list of your current tickets and licences. Tell us your trade and what you're after.
2
We review and callWe read every application. If there's a fit — now or when a role opens — we'll call you for a chat about your experience and what you're looking for.
3
Meet the crewA site or office conversation with the people you'd actually work with. We hire on craft, safety and attitude — show us all three.
We promote from the tools up. If you can run work cleanly, safely and to spec, there's a path here — and we'll back the tickets to get you up it.
